The efforts of the A'jamis in Hadeeth during the early centuries
The knowledge of hadeeth from the second century after the Hijrah until the fifth century was served but largely by ‘Ajam (non-Arabs) from amongst the Muslims – and this is something apparent, for Al Haafidh Ibn Hajr spoke about this in one of his books.
