The ruling on paying Az-Zakah to the poor Husband

Question:
Is it permissible for the women to give the Zakah of her wealth to her husband if he is poor?

Answer:
It is permissible for the women to give the Zakah of her wealth to her husband if he is poor due to her generality of Allah's statement: Verly As-Sadaqat(Az-Zakah)is only for the fuqara'(poor) and the Masakin (needy)... [1] This is in order to eliminate his poverty.
