Women calling the Aadhaan
Question:

Is it legislated for the woman to call the Aadhaan (call to prayer)?
Answer:

A- It is not legislated, rather upon her is to call the iqaamah, this is due to the voice of the woman being a fitnah and Allaah The Mighty and Majestic says: ((…then do not be softly spoken lest it causes allure in whose heart there is a sickness…)) (Soorah Al-Ahzaab: 32) and those who say it is legislated are Ash-Shawkaanee and Muhammad Siddeeq Hasan Khan, and they both said: “the foundation is the generality of the legislation” but that which is correct is that it is not legislated for the woman.
