Concerning the position of the madhabs with regards to the raising of the hands in the prayer
|
|
The Maalikees do not raise their hands in the prayer except with the initial takbeer, and the Hanbalees and the Shaafi’ees are in opposition to that, they raise their hands at four occasions as has been mentioned in the hadeeth. But the Hanafees do not raise their hands except in the initial takbeer – like the Maalikees out of implementation of a wording which appears in one of the ahaadeeth concerning the description of his (Sallaallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) prayer, and this narration of Ibn Mas’ood is not Saheeh (authentic) from him.
